WE Care for Kids is now selling breathable, reusable and washable unisex face masks for children, teens and adults, with all proceeds to benefit local paediatric healthcare. These are high quality laser cut seamless masks for enhanced fit and all-day comfort. They are made of super-lightweight antibacterial yarn, which optimizes breathability and has superior elasticity. They also come in a variety of sizes and colours (and look fashionable!). Unlike stuffy cotton masks which trap odors and restrict breathability, these masks can be worn for extended periods and they can even been worn with glasses without concern for fogging up the lenses.
Most masks currently available have been made for the adult population, and so children and teens are left with ill-fitting masks which are uncomfortable and provide an inadequate seal over the nose, mouth and chin, and will often slip down past a child’s nose. These masks are specifically designed to fit their smaller faces, and because of the elasticity of the product, they will provide better and more consistent coverage of the nose, mouth and chin. They are also more comfortable and breathable, both of which are key to children and teens actually wearing masks.
Masks should be washed prior to first use and they should also be washed daily. They can be machine washed in cold water, but it is preferable to hand-wash these masks to maintain the integrity of the sewn components over an extended period of time. Wet masks should be hung to air dry and will dry quickly. We recommend that people purchase two masks (one to wear, one to wash) to ensure that you always have a clean and fresh mask to wear every day.
Most importantly, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these masks will go to WE Care for Kids, and will help us raise funds for much needed pediatric medical equipment and other urgent needs for children.
